"There's not a lot of fanfare when it comes to Ristorante Roma. The owners of this quiet, unassuming and uncluttered hole-in-the-wall aren't exactly using ambience to create a dining "experience." The same is true for the food—it's a straight-up Roman-Italian food without an ounce of mystery—which is exactly the way restaurants should be when it comes to Italian food. If you want chicken scalopine, you'll get a plate full of wine-doused chicken with side salad, and not much else. If you order the ravioli Bolognese at Roma, you'll get a mound of cheese-stuffed ravioli with a generous dose of really good meat sauce. Roma's not a ravioli-skimping kind of joint, and for that, we're thankful."

"I went here today being very skeptical that it's authentic or even a quality italian restaurant. Plastic coated menu? But then i was proven very wrong. The food was delicious. My gnochi salome was rich and creamy with small flecks of smoked salmon that gave it great texture. Everyone elses dish that i tried was also tasty and not overly sauced. The best part was it's a small restaurant family owned and runned. Small and cozy and i'm happy to know i'll be returning soon because someone had booked the restaurant for a bday party."

"We had a fabulous meal there for a reasonable price. The prosciutto and melon appetizer was great. The wine was a good price, and the servings were generous and delicious. I'd say the food was as good as any of the trattorias I visited in Florence! I had beef bits with braised arugula and asparagus, and my date had crab-stuffed ravioli. At the end of the meal the maitre d' brought us chilled muscat on the house, a great finish to a great meal."

"... Ristorante Roma, is actually quite peaceful. Size and setup wise not so different then what you'd find on a side street near Campo Di Fiore. The cuisine, as it should be simple, subtly flavored, straight forward, delicious. The Pappardelle Funghi e Salsiccia with it's perfect homemade pasta, savory shrooms and sausage is a dish worth returning for."

"The food is amazing!!! My family and I went here and everybody loved their dinner. The atmosphere is simple, but nice with seating for maybe a maximum of 30 people. The service was excellent...... very attentive and very authentic"
